Join the YWCA and Grassroots Realty South for the inaugural YWCA Gala on November 28th at the Agri-Food Hub and Trade Centre.
This event raises funds for all of our programs and services, including Harbour House Emergency Shelter, Hestia Youth Homes, Safe Visitation and The Amethyst Project.
In 2022, YWCA Lethbridge & District saw 340 Women and 82 Children in our Emergency Shelter but sadly, had to turn away 1,562 women/children due to a lack of beds and capacity.
In 2022, our Safe Visitation program facilitated 278 supervised visits for 148 families. Our Safe Visitation program is free of charge to families in need but without additional funding, we cannot support the amount of families that are in need of these services in our community.
2022 also saw 1,988 calls to our crisis line and over 90 individuals served through our Amethyst Project.
